AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 and have protected them against every accursed satan 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have provided therein means of subsistence,- for you and for those for whose sustenance ye are not responsible. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilising, and cause water to descend from the sky, and give it you to drink. It is not ye who are the holders of the store thereof. 22 It is We who give life and cause things to die and We are the sole Heirs. 23 We know those of you who press forward, and We know the laggards, 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
