Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth We spread out, and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein all kinds of things in due proportion. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 There is nothing except that its treasuries are with Us and We do not send it down except in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 And verily We know the eager among you and verily We know the laggards. 24 and, behold, it is thy Sustainer who will gather them all together [on Judgment Day]: verily, He is Wise, All-Knowing! 25
