▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

It is We Who have set out the zodiacal signs in the heavens, and made them fair-seeming to (all) beholders; 16 And We have kept it guarded from every outcast devil. 17 But any that gains a hearing by stealth, is pursued by a flaming fire, bright (to see). 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 With Us is the source of everything and We do not send it down except in a known quantity. 21 We send the winds fertilizing, and We send down out of heaven water, from which you drink and you are not its treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
