Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have set in heaven constellations and decked them out fair to the beholders, 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and him there followeth a flame gleaming. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And created livelihoods for you in it, and created those for whom you do not provide the sustenance. 20 And there is not a thing the treasure* of which is not with Us; and We do not send it down except by a known measure. (* The power to create it.) 21 And We sent the winds that relieve the clouds’ burden, therefore caused water to descend from the sky, then give it to you to drink; and you are not at all its treasurers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And assuredly We know those of you who have gone before and those who will come hereafter. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
