▼ 15 The Hijjr Valley
Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have indeed set constellations in the heavens and have beautified them for the beholders, 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Except one who steals a hearing and is pursued by a clear burning flame. 18 And the earth - We have spread it and cast therein firmly set mountains and caused to grow therein [something] of every well-balanced thing. 19 and provided thereon means of livelihood for you [O men] as well as for all [living beings] whose sustenance does not depend on you. 20 There is not a thing but its storehouses are with Us. But We only send down each thing in an appropriate measure: 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 and it is your Lord who will gather them. He is Wise, Knowing. 25
