Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 And We guard it against every accursed Shaitan, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made for you therein means of living and [for] those for whom you are not providers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We have sent the fertilizing winds and sent down water from the sky and given you drink from it. And you are not its retainers. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 And indeed, We know the first generations of you who had passed away, and indeed, We know the present generations of you (mankind), and also those who will come afterwards. 24 Your Lord will surely gather them together: Certainly He is all-wise and all-knowing. 25
