Surely We created man of a clay of mud moulded, 26 and the jinn We had created before from flaming fire. 27 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to bring into being a man wrought from mud. 28 When I have shaped him and ran My created soul in him fall down prostrating towards him'. 29 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them together. 30 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated. 31 Allah said: O Iblis! what aileth thou that thou art not with the prostrates? 32 He answered, “It does not befit me to prostrate myself to a human whom You have created from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 33 Said Allah, “Therefore exit from Paradise, for you are an outcast.” 34 Condemned till the day of Doom!" 35 [Iblis (Satan)] said: "O my Lord! Give me then respite till the Day they (the dead) will be resurrected." 36 He said, "You are granted respite 37 till the Day the time whereof is known [to Me alone]." 38 (satan) said: 'My Lord, for Your perverting me, I shall make (matters) in the earth seem most fair to them and I shall pervert all, 39 excepting those Thy servants among them that are devoted. 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 No power shall you have over (all) My creatures except those who fall into error and follow you, 42 And surely Hell is the promised place of them all: 43 It has seven gates and each gate is assigned for a certain group of people. 44
