We created mankind from clay, molded from mud, 26 And the jinn We created before from scorching fire. 27 Recall when your Lord said to the angels: "I will indeed bring into being a human being out of dry ringing clay wrought from black mud. 28 When I have completed shaping him and have breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall you down before him in prostration." 29 All the angels prostrated before Adam 30 Except Iblees, he refused to be with those who prostrated. 31 He said: O Iblis! what excuse have you that you are not with those who make obeisance? 32 He answered, “It does not befit me to prostrate myself to a human whom You have created from sounding clay made out of black smelly mud.” 33 (Allah) said: 'Begone, you are accursed! 34 and will be subjected to condemnation until the Day of Judgment." 35 He said: 'My Lord, reprieve me till the Day they are raised' 36 He said, "You are granted respite 37 until the day of a known time." 38 Said he, 'My Lord, for Thy perverting me I shall deck all fair to them in the earth, and I shall pervert them, all together, 39 “Except those among them who are Your chosen bondmen.” 40 He (Allah) said: 'This is for Me the Right Path 41 "Certainly, you shall have no authority over My slaves, except those who follow you of the Ghawin (Mushrikun and those who go astray, criminals, polytheists, and evil-doers, etc.). 42 And verily, Hell is the promised abode for them all! 43 with seven gates leading into it, each gate receiving its allotted share of sinners. 44
