"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 "(It will be said to them): 'Enter therein (Paradise), in peace and security.' 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 There shall touch them no toil therein, nor therefrom they shall ever be driven out. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And that My Torment is indeed the most painful torment. 50 And inform them of Ibrahim’s guests. 51 When they entered upon him, they said, Peace. He said: Surely we are afraid of you. 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 He said, 'What, do you give me good tidings, though old age has smitten me? Of what do you 54 They answered: "We have given thee the glad tiding of something that is bound to come true. So be not of those who abandon hope!" 55 He said, "No one despairs of the mercy of his Lord except those who are in error. 56 And asked them: "What matter, O angels, brings you here?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 “Except his wife – we have decided that she is of those who will stay behind.” 60
