Verily those who keep away from evil and follow the straight path shall be in the midst of gardens and springs of water. 45 (And it is said unto them): Enter them in peace, secure. 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Declare thou unto My bondmen: verily I! I am the Forgiver, the Merciful. 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Inform them about the matter of Abraham's guests. 51 When they entered unto him, and said: Salaman (peace)! [Ibrahim (Abraham)] said: "Indeed! We are afraid of you." 52 They said, 'Be not afraid; behold, we give thee good tidings of a cunning boy.' 53 "You bring me the good news now," he said, "when old age has come upon me. What good news are you giving me then?" 54 They said: "We give thee glad tidings in truth: be not then in despair!" 55 He said: and who despondeth of the mercy of his Lord except the astray 56 Then he asked, "What then is your business, O messengers?" 57 They answered: "We are sent to people lost in sin [who are to be destroyed,] 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
