"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 They will be told: "Enter it in peace and security." 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness shall ever touch them in this [state of bliss,] and never shall they have to forgo it. 48 ۞ Tell My servants that I alone am the Forgiving, the Merciful One, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them of the guests of Ibrahim: 51 When they entered unto him, and said; peace! He said: verily we are afraid of you. 52 'Do not be afraid' they answered. 'We come to give you glad tidings of a knowledgeable child' 53 He said: 'What is this, do you bring me glad tidings even though I am old' Of what do you give me glad tidings' 54 They said, “We have given you true tidings, therefore do not lose hope.” 55 He replied: 'And who despairs of the mercy of his Lord, except those that are astray? 56 Abraham said: "What then is the business on which ye (have come), O ye messengers (of Allah)?" 57 They said: We have been sent unto a guilty folk, 58 "(All) except the family of Lout (Lot). Them all we are surely going to save (from destruction). 59 except his wife who is doomed to be left behind." 60

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
