Lo! those who ward off (evil) are among gardens and watersprings. 45 "Enter in peace and tranquility," (they will be told). 46 And We remove whatever rancour may be in their breasts. As brethren, face to face, (they rest) on couches raised. 47 no fatigue there shall smite them, neither shall they ever be driven forth from there. 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 and that My punishment is the painful chastisement. 50 And inform them about the guests of Abraham, 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 They said: Be not afraid, surely we give you the good news of a boy, possessing knowledge. 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said: "The good tiding we give you is of truth. Do not, therefore, be of those who despair." 55 [Abraham] exclaimed: "And who - other than those who have utterly lost their way - could ever abandon the hope of his Sustainer's grace?" 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 "We have been sent," they said, "to (punish) a sinful people, 58 excepting the folk of Lot; them we shall deliver 59 Except his wife." Allah decreed that she is of those who remain behind. 60
