Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the people of the Hijr (rocks) denied the Noble Messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 So the scream overcame them at morning. 83 Then availed them not that which they had been earning. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 For verily it is thy Lord who is the Master-Creator, knowing all things. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated, and the mighty Koran. 87 Strain not thine eyes toward that which We cause some wedded pairs among them to enjoin, and be not grieved on their account, and lower thy wing (in tenderness) for the believers. 88 And say: "I am indeed he that warneth openly and without ambiguity,"- 89 So We sent it down to the partitioners, 90 Who have made the Qur'an into portions. 91 By your Lord We shall question them one and all 92 For that which they have been working. 93 (O Prophet), proclaim what you are commanded, and pay no heed to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity. 94 Verily We will suffice unto thee against the mockers. 95 Who set up along with Allah another god; presently they shall know. 96 Well know We that thy bosom is oppressed by what they say, 97 But you should glorify your Lord with praises, and be among those who bow in submission; 98 Worship your Lord till the certainty (death) comes to you. 99

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
