The people of al-Hijr also rejected Our messengers: 80 We gave them Our signs, but they turned away from them. 81 And they were hewing out houses from mountains feeling secure. 82 But As-Saihah (torment - awful cry etc.) overtook them in the early morning (of the fourth day of their promised punishment days). 83 And all that which they used to earn availed them not. 84 And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them two but in truth; and the hour is most surely coming, so turn away with kindly forgiveness. 85 Verify thy Lord! He is the Great Creator, the Knower. 86 We have given thee seven of the oft-repeated (verses) and the great Qur'an. 87 Do not stretch your eyes to that We have given pairs of them to enjoy, nor sorrow for them, and lower your wing to the believers. 88 and say: "Behold, I am indeed the plain warner [promised by God]! 89 (We have given you the Quran) as We had given (the Bible) to those who divided themselves into groups 90 (So also on such) as have made Qur'an into shreds (as they please). 91 Therefore, by your Lord, We shall question every one of them. 92 for whatever they have done! 93 Proclaim then, what you are commanded and turn away from the unbelievers. 94 We will, surely, suffice you against those who mock, 95 those who set up another deity alongside Allah. They shall soon come to know. 96 We certainly know that you feel sad about what they say against you. 97 But glorify your Lord with His praise, and prostrate yourself: 98 Worship your Lord until you achieve the ultimate certainty. 99
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.

Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
