Al-Hijjr 6 of 6
And the dwellers in Al-Hijr denied (Our) messengers. 80 We brought them Our signs, and they turned away from them. 81 They carved out dwellings in the mountains, and lived in security -- 82 But the Shout seized them in the morning, 83 and of no avail to them was all [the power] that they had acquired. 84 And We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, except with the Truth; and indeed the Last Day will come, therefore (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), forbear graciously. 85 Your Lord is the Creator, the Knower. 86 And indeed, We have bestowed upon you seven of Al-Mathani (the seven repeatedly recited Verses), (i.e. Surat Al-Fatiha) and the Grand Quran. 87 Do not strain your eyes after what We have given certain classes of them to enjoy, and do not grieve for them, and make yourself gentle to the believers. 88 And say: 'I am the plain warner' 89 (Of a punishment) Like the one We sent down upon the dividers. 90 Those who have made the scripture bits. 91 so by your Lord, We will question them all 92 about whatever they had been doing! 93 Hence, proclaim openly all that thou hast been bidden [to say,] and leave alone all those who ascribe divinity to aught beside God: 94 verily, We shall suffice thee against all who [now] deride [this message - all] 95 Those who adopt, with Allah, another god: but soon will they come to know. 96 Indeed, We know that your breast is straitened at what they say. 97 But hymn the praise of thy Lord, and be of those who make prostration (unto Him). 98 And serve your Lord until there comes to you that which is certain. 99
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
