The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
۞ The decree of God is at hand, so do not seek to hasten it. Holy is He, and exalted far above what they associate with Him. 1 He sends down the angels with revelations by His command to whoever of His servants He pleases, saying, "Warn mankind that there is no god save Me, so fear Me." 2 He hath created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all that they associate (with Him). 3 He hath created man from a drop of fluid, yet behold! he is an open opponent. 4 And He created cattle; in them are warm clothing and uses for you, and you eat from them. 5 And there is beauty in them for you when you drive them back (to home), and when you send them forth (to pasture). 6 And they bear your loads for you unto a land ye could not reach save with great trouble to yourselves. Lo! your Lord is Full of Pity, Merciful. 7 And He created horses and mules and asses for you to ride, and also for your adornment. And He creates many things (for you) that you do not even know about. 8 And unto Allah leads straight the Way, but there are ways that turn aside: if Allah had willed, He could have guided all of you. 9
