The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
۞ God's command comes; so seek not to hasten it. Glory be to Him! High be He exalted above that they associate with Him! 1 He doth send down His angels with inspiration of His Command, to such of His servants as He pleaseth, (saying): "Warn (Man) that there is no god but I: so do your duty unto Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth with truth. High be He Exalted above all they associate as partners with Him. 3 He hath created man from a drop, and Lo! he is a disputer open. 4 He created the cattle from whom you get warm clothing and (other) advantages, and some you eat. 5 In them there is beauty for you when you bring them home and when you lead them to pasture. 6 And they transport your loads to a town where you could not reach except utterly exhausted; indeed your Lord is Most Compassionate, Most Merciful. 7 And He hath created horses and mules and asses that ye may ride there on, and as an adornment; and He createth that which ye know not. 8 It rests with Allah alone to show you the Right Way, even when there are many crooked ways. Had He so willed, He would have (perforce) guided you all aright. 9
