The Bee (Al-nahl)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ The command of Allah is arriving soon, therefore do not seek to hasten it; Purity and Supremacy are to Him, above all the partners (they ascribe). 1 He sends the angels with revelation by His command, to any of His creatures as He please, (saying): "Warn that there is no god but I, so fear Me." 2 He has created the heavens and the earth in accordance with [an inner] truth; sublimely exalted is He above anything to which men may ascribe a share in His divinity! 3 He created mankind from a sperm drop, yet he is a clear adversary. 4 And the cattle -- He created them for you; in them is warmth, and uses various, and of them you eat, 5 And you find beauty in them as you drive them to pasture in the morning and as you drive them back home in the evening; 6 and they carry your loads to many a place which you would be unable to reach without much hardship. Surely your Lord is Intensely Loving, Most Merciful. 7 And [He created] the horses, mules and donkeys for you to ride and [as] adornment. And He creates that which you do not know. 8 To God leads the right path, though some deviate. If He willed He could guide you all to the right way. 9
