It is He who sends down water from the sky of which you drink, and which nourishes the plants you feed your cattle, 10 With this water He produces for you crops, and olives, and dates, and grapes, and all kinds of fruit; indeed in this is a sign for people who ponder. 11 God has made the day and the night, the sun and the moon, and all the stars subservient to you by His command. In this there is evidence of the truth for people of understanding. 12 And that which He has multiplied for you in the earth of diverse hues. Surely in that is a sign for a people who remember. 13 And He it is Who has subjected the sea (to you), that you eat thereof fresh tender meat (i.e. fish), and that you bring forth out of it ornaments to wear. And you see the ships ploughing through it, that you may seek (thus) of His Bounty (by transporting the goods from place to place) and that you may be grateful. 14 He has set up on the earth firm mountains, lest it shake under you, and rivers and tracks, so that you may find your way, 15 And landmarks. And by the stars they are [also] guided. 16 So, could one who creates be like one who cannot? Will you not then contemplate? 17 If you count God's blessing, you will never number it; surely God is All-forgiving, All-compassionate. 18 Allah has knowledge of all that you hide and all that you reveal. 19 Those whom they invoke besides Allah create nothing and are themselves created. 20 (They are things) dead, lifeless: nor do they know when they will be raised up. 21
