And those that emigrated in God's cause after they were wronged -- We shall surely lodge them in this world in a goodly lodging, and the wage of the world to come is greater, did they but know; 41 such are those who are patient, and put their trust in their Lord. 42 The Messengers whom We sent before you were mere mortals to whom We had sent with miracles and revelations. Ask those who know about the heavenly Books if you do not know about this. 43 [We sent them] with clear proofs and written ordinances. And We revealed to you the message that you may make clear to the people what was sent down to them and that they might give thought. 44 Do those who do evil feel secure that Allah will not make the earth to swallow them, or that the punishment will not fall upon them from where they do not know? 45 Or, that he will not take hold of them in their going to and fro! so that they cannot escape. 46 Or, that he will not take hold of them by giving them a fright? verily thy Lord is Kind, Merciful. 47 Do the people not see how the objects Allah has created cast their shadows right and left, prostrating themselves in utter submission to Allah? 48 Whatever is in the heavens and the earth, the cattle and the angels prostrate themselves before God without pride. 49 they fear their Lord above them, and they do what they are commanded. ۩ 50
