۞ Allah hath said: Choose not two gods. There is only One Allah. So of Me, Me only, be in awe. 51 To Him belongs all that is in the heavens and (all that is in) the earth and Ad-Din Wasiba is His [(i.e. perpetual sincere obedience to Allah is obligatory). None has the right to be worshipped but Allah)]. Will you then fear any other than Allah? 52 And whatever of comfort ye enjoy, it is from Allah. Then, when misfortune reacheth you, unto Him ye cry for help. 53 yet as soon as He has removed the harm from you, lo! some of you [begin to] ascribe to other powers a share 'in their Sustainer's divinity 54 So as to deny that which We have given them. Then enjoy life (while ye may), for ye will come to know. 55 They set aside a share of that which We have provided them for what they did not know. By Allah, you shall be questioned about your forgeries! 56 They assign daughters to Allah - glory be to Him - whereas they assign to themselves what they truly desire! 57 When news is brought to one of them, of (the birth of) a female (child), his face darkens, and he is filled with inward grief! 58 In his shame he hides himself away from his people, because of the bad news he has been given. Should he keep her and feel disgraced or bury her in the dust? How ill they judge! 59 The semblance of those who believe not in the life to come is that of the meanest; but the semblance of God is the most sublime, for He is all-mighty and all-wise. 60
