Al-nahl 7 of 16
۞ And Allah has proclaimed, “Do not ascribe two Gods; indeed He is the only One God; therefore fear Me alone.” 51 To Him belongs whatever is in the heavens and on earth, and to Him is duty due always: then will ye fear other than Allah? 52 Every bounty that you enjoy is from Allah; and whenever any misfortune strikes you, it is to Him that you cry for the removal of your distress. 53 Then when He removes the adversity from you, at once a party of you associates others with their Lord 54 So as to deny that which We have given them. Then enjoy life (while ye may), for ye will come to know. 55 They set aside a portion of the food We have given them for those they do not know. By God, you will surely have to answer for all you contrive! 56 And they assign unto Allah daughters - Be He Glorified! - and unto themselves what they desire; 57 And when the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face becomes dark, and he is filled with inward grief! 58 They try to hide themselves from the people because of the disgrace of such news. Will they keep their new born despite the disgrace or bury it alive? How sinful is their Judgment! 59 The semblance of those who believe not in the life to come is that of the meanest; but the semblance of God is the most sublime, for He is all-mighty and all-wise. 60
