And when We substitute a verse in place of a verse - and Allah is most knowing of what He sends down - they say, "You, [O Muhammad], are but an inventor [of lies]." But most of them do not know. 101 Say, "The Holy Spirit has brought it down as truth from your Lord, so that He may strengthen those who believe, and also as guidance and as good tidings for those who submit." 102 And assuredly We know that they say: it is only a human being who teacheth him. The speech of him unto whom they incline is foreign while this is Arabic speech plain. 103 Those who disbelieve in the signs of Allah – Allah does not guide them, and for them is a punishment, most painful. 104 They only invent falsehood who do not believe in the verses of Allah, and it is those who are the liars. 105 Except for those who were forced to engage in infidelity to Allah after believing the while their hearts remained firmly convinced of their belief, the ones whose hearts willingly embraced disbelief shall incur Allah's wrath and a mighty chastisement lies in store for them. 106 This is because they have given preference to this life over the life to come and God does not guide disbelieving people. 107 They are those whose hearts, hearing and sight are sealed by Allah; they are the heedless. 108 So it occurred that they are the losers in the Hereafter. 109 ۞ Surely, your Lord will be forgiving and merciful towards those who migrated after persecution and strove hard for the cause of God and remained steadfast. 110
