1/4 Hizb 29
< random >
۞ And your Lord has ordained that you do not worship anyone except Him, and treat your parents with kindness; if either of them or both reach old age in your presence, do not say “Uff”* to them and do not rebuff them, and speak to them with the utmost respect. (* Any expression of disgust.) 23 And lower unto them the wing of meekness out of mercy, and say: O my Lord! have mercy on the twain even as they brought me up when young. 24 Your Lord knows very well what is in your hearts if you are righteous, for He is All-forgiving to those who are penitent. 25 Give the relatives, the destitute and those who when on a journey have become needy, their dues. 26 Verily the squanderers are ever the brethren of the satans, and the Satan is ever unto his Lord ungrateful. 27 And if you [must] turn away from the needy awaiting mercy from your Lord which you expect, then speak to them a gentle word. 28 Do not be niggardly, nor extravagant that you may later feel reprehensive and constrained. 29 Behold, thy Sustainer grants abundant sustenance, or gives it in scant measure, unto whomever He wills: verily, fully aware is He of [the needs of] His creatures, and sees them all. 30

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
