We have given you various facts (about the Truth in this Quran) so that they (unbelievers) would take heed, but this has only increased their aversion (to the truth). 41 Say: If there had been (other) gods with Him, as they say,- behold, they would certainly have sought out a way to the Lord of the Throne! 42 Exalted is He and high above what they say by great sublimity. 43 The seven heavens and the earth and all that is therein praise Him, and there is not a thing but hymneth His praise; but ye understand not their praise. Lo! He is ever Clement, Forgiving. 44 When you recite the Qur'an, We place a hidden veil between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter; 45 And We placed covers upon their hearts so they may not understand it, and deafness in their ears; and when you mention your Only Lord in the Qur’an, they flee turning their backs in hatred. 46 We know best what they listen to when they listen to you, and when they take counsel secretly, when the unjust say: You follow only a man deprived of reason. 47 See what they compared you to. They have surely gone astray and cannot find a Path. 48 'What' they say. 'When we are (turned to) bones and broken bits, shall we be raised again in a new creation' 49 (Muhammad), say "Yes, even if you become rocks, iron, 50 ۞ Or some other created thing which may seem to you most difficult (to create)!" They will then say: "Who will revert us back?" Say: "He who originated you in the first place." They will shake their heads at you and say: "When will that be?" Say: "In the near future, perhaps, 51 "It will be on a Day when He will call you, and ye will answer (His call) with (words of) His praise, and ye will think that ye tarried but a little while!" 52
