We have explained (things) in various (ways) in this Qur'an, in order that they may receive admonition, but it only increases their flight (from the Truth)! 41 Say: 'If there had been other gods with Him, as they say, they would surely have sought a way to the Lord of the Throne' 42 Glory be to Him! Exalted above all that they say! 43 The seven heavens extol His limitless glory, and the earth, and all that they contain; and there is not a single thing but extols His limitless glory and praise: but you [O men] fail to grasp the manner of their glorifying Him! Verily, He is forbearing, much-forgiving! 44 When you recite the Qur'an, We place a hidden veil between you and those who do not believe in the Hereafter; 45 and We lay veils upon their hearts lest they understand it, and in their ears heaviness. And when thou mentionest thy Lord only in the Koran, they turn in their traces in aversion. 46 We know what they want to hear when they listen to you. They whisper to each other and say, "You are only following a bewitched person". 47 See what they compared you to. They have surely gone astray and cannot find a Path. 48 'What' they say. 'When we are (turned to) bones and broken bits, shall we be raised again in a new creation' 49 Say, "[yes] even if you turned to stones or iron, 50 ۞ or any other substance which you think unlikely to be given life." Then they will ask, "Who is it that shall restore us to life?" Answer them, "He who created you the first time." They will then shake their heads at you and say, "When will that be?" Say, "It may well be very soon." 51 on a Day when He will call you, and you will answer by praising Him, thinking all the while that you have tarried [on earth] but a little while." 52
