Al-Isra 8 of 12
On the day when We shall summon all men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand - such will read their book and they will not be wronged a shred. 71 And whosoever is blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, and he shall be even further astray from the way. 72 AND behold, they [who have gone astray] endeavour to tempt thee away from all [the truth] with which We have inspired thee, [O Prophet,] with a view to making thee invent something else in Our name - in which case they would surely have made thee their friend! 73 And had We not kept you steadfast, possibly you might have inclined to them just a little. 74 whereupon We would have made you taste double (the chastisement) in the world and double (the chastisement) after death, and then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 And they indeed wished to scare thee from the land that they might drive thee forth from thence, and then they would have stayed (there) but a little after thee. 76 [such has been Our] way with all of Our apostles whom We sent before thy time; and no change wilt thou find in Our ways. 77
