Perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib, and 'Isha' prayers), and recite the Quran in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Quran in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night). 78 And as for the night, keep vigil a part of it, as a work of supererogation for thee; it may be that thy Lord will raise thee up to a laudable station. 79 And pray: "O my Lord, let my entry be with honour, and let my exit be with honour, and grant me power from You which would help (sustain) me." 80 And say: "The truth has now come [to light,] and falsehood has withered away: for, behold, all falsehood is bound to wither away!" 81 And We reveal by means of the Qur'an that which is a healing and a mercy unto the believers, and it only increaseth the wrong-doers in loss. 82 And when We bestow favor on man, he turns aside and behaves proudly, and when evil afflicts him, he is despairing. 83 Say: Every one acts according to his manner; but your Lord best knows who is best guided in the path. 84
