When Moses said to his (assisting) youth: 'I will not give up until I reach the point where the two seas meet even though I should go on for many years' 60 But when they reached the junction between the two [seas,] they forgot all about their fish, and it took its way into the sea and disappeared from sight. 61 When they had passed on (some distance), Moses said to his attendant: "Bring us our early meal; truly we have suffered much fatigue at this (stage of) our journey." 62 He said: lookest thou! when we betook ourselves to the rock, then I forgot the fish; and naught but the Satan made me forget to mention it, and it took its way into the sea - a marvel! 63 [Moses] said, "That is what we were seeking." So they returned, following their footprints. 64 and they found one of Our servants to whom We had granted Our mercy and had given a knowledge from Ourself. 65 Musa said to him: Shall I follow you on condition that you should teach me right knowledge of what you have been taught? 66 He said, "Indeed, with me you will never be able to have patience. 67 And how can you have patience for what you do not encompass in knowledge?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said: "Well, if you follow me, do not ask me concerning anything until I myself mention it to you." 70
