And when Moses said unto his servant: I will not give up until I reach the point where the two rivers meet, though I march on for ages. 60 But when they came to the point where the two met, they forgot their fish, which made its way burrowing into the sea. 61 When they had gone past (the confluence), Moses said to his servant: "Give me my breakfast. I am exhausted from this journey." 62 His companion replied, "Do you remember the rock on which we took rest? Satan made me forget to mention to you the story of the fish and how it miraculously made its way into the sea. 63 He said: This is that which we have been seeking. So they retraced their steps again. 64 Then found they one of Our slaves, unto whom We had given mercy from Us, and had taught him knowledge from Our presence. 65 Moses asked him, "Can I follow you so that you would teach me the guidance that you have received?" 66 Said he, 'Assuredly thou wilt not be able to bear with me patiently. 67 "How can you bear that which is beyond your comprehension?" 68 Moses said: "Thou wilt find me, if Allah so will, (truly) patient: nor shall I disobey thee in aught." 69 Said [the sage]: "Well, then, if thou art to follow me, do not question me about aught [that I may do] until I myself give thee an account thereof." 70
