Al-Kahf 12 of 12
Do the unbelievers think they can make My servants as their guardians instead of Me? We have prepared hell as a dwelling place for the disbelievers. 102 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), “Shall we inform you whose are the most failed works?” 103 Those whose striving goes astray in the present life, while they think that they are working good deeds. 104 They are those who deny the Signs of their Lord and the fact of their having to meet Him (in the Hereafter): vain will be their works, nor shall We, on the Day of Judgment, give them any weight. 105 Hell will be their reward, because they denied the truth, and made a jest of My signs and My messengers. 106 [But,] verily, as for those who attain to faith and do righteous deeds - the gardens of paradise will be there to welcome them; 107 Wherein they shall dwell (for aye): no change will they wish for from them. 108 Proclaim, “If the sea became ink for the Words of my Lord, the sea would indeed be used up and the Words of my Lord would never – even if we bring another like it for help.” 109 Say [O Prophet]: "I am but a mortal man like all of you. It has been revealed unto me that your God is the One and Only God. Hence, whoever looks forward [with hope and awe] to meeting his Sustainer [on Judgment Day,] let him do righteous deeds, and let him not ascribe unto anyone or anything a share in the worship due to his Sustainer!" 110
True are the words of Allah the Almighty.

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
