Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 We called him from the right side of the Mount, and brought him close for communion; 52 And We bestowed on him, out of Our mercy, his brother Harun, a prophet. 53 And mention thou in the Book lsma'il; verily he was true in promise, and was apostle, prophet. 54 who used to enjoin upon his people prayer and charity, and found favour in his Sustainer's sight. 55 And make mention in the Scripture of Idris. Lo! he was a saint, a prophet; 56 And We raised him to an exalted station. 57 These are the ones whom God has favoured: the prophets from among the descendants of Adam and of those whom We carried in the Ark with Noah; the descendants of Abraham, of Israel, and of those whom We have guided and chosen. For when the revelations of the Merciful were recited to them, they fell down, prostrating themselves and weeping. ۩ 58 ۞ But then they were succeeded by generations who neglected their prayers and were driven by their own desires. They will assuredly meet with destruction, 59 but those among them who repent and become righteously striving believers will be admitted to the gardens without experiencing any injustice. 60 [theirs will be the] gardens of perpetual bliss which the Most Gracious has promised unto His servants, in a realm which is beyond the reach of human perception: [and,] verily, His promise is ever sure of fulfilment! 61 There, they shall hear no idle talk, but only peace. And there they shall be given their provision at dawn and at the evening. 62 Such is the Garden which We shall cause those of Our bondmen to inherit who have been God-fearing. 63 We never descend except at your Lord's command. What is before us and behind us and all that lies between belong to Him. Your Lord is not forgetful. 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them! Therefor, worship thou Him and be thou steadfast in His service. Knowest thou one that can be named along with Him? 65
