Tell also of Moses in the Book. He was indeed a chosen one, and was a messenger and a prophet. 51 And We called to him from the blessed side of the mountain, and We made him draw nigh, holding communion (with Us). 52 From Our Mercy We gave him, his brother Aaron, a Prophet. 53 AND CALL to mind, through this divine writ, Ishmael. Behold, he was always true to his promise, and was an apostle [of God], a prophet, 54 He would order his people to worship God and pay the religious tax. His Lord was pleased with him. 55 Mention in the Book (the Quran) the story of Idris (Enoch); he was a truthful Prophet. 56 And We lifted him to a high position. (Living with soul & body in heaven, after his death.) 57 Those were some of the prophets on whom Allah did bestow His Grace,- of the posterity of Adam, and of those who We carried (in the Ark) with Noah, and of the posterity of Abraham and Israel of those whom We guided and chose. Whenever the Signs of (Allah) Most Gracious were rehearsed to them, they would fall down in prostrate adoration and in tears. ۩ 58 ۞ They were succeeded by a people who neglected the Prayers and pursued their lusts. They shall presently meet with their doom, 59 Excepting those who may repent and believe and work righteously; these shall enter the Garden and shall not be wronged at all 60 The gardens of perpetuity which the Beneficent Allah has promised to His servants while unseen; surely His promise shall come to pass. 61 They will not hear therein any meaningless words. They will be greeted (by the angels) with "Peace be with you," and they will receive their sustenance both in the mornings and evenings. 62 That is Paradise, which We give as inheritance to those of Our servants who were fearing of Allah. 63 We (angels) come not down save by commandment of thy Lord. Unto Him belongeth all that is before us and all that is behind us and all that is between those two, and thy Lord was never forgetful - 64 Lord of the heavens and the earth and that which is betwixt the twain; so Him worship thou, and endure patiently in His worship; knowest thou any as His compeer? 65
