Man says: "What! When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 By your Lord, We shall gather them and the devils together, then bring them crawling on their knees around Hell. 68 We shall then pick out from every group the one who was most arrogant towards the Most Gracious. 69 for, indeed, We know best as to which of them is most deserving of the fires of hell. 70 There is not one of you who shall not go down to it: such is a thing decreed, determined by your Lord. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our Clear Verses are recited to them, those who disbelieve (the rich and strong among the pagans of Quraish who live a life of luxury) say to those who believe (the weak, poor companions of Prophet Muhammad SAW who have a hard life): "Which of the two groups (i.e. believers and disbelievers) is best in (point of) position and as regards station (place of council for consultation)." 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah increases in guidance those who walk aright [true believers in the Oneness of Allah who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)]. And the righteous good deeds that last, are better with your Lord, for reward and better for resort. 76 Then, have you seen he who disbelieved in Our verses and said, "I will surely be given wealth and children [in the next life]?" 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Nay! We shall record what he says, and We shall increase his torment (in the Hell); 79 We shall inherit all that he boasts of, and he will come to Us all alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 But nay! [On Judgment Day] these [very objects of adoration] will disavow the worship that was paid to them, and will turn against those [who had worshipped them]! 82
