And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Will not man remember that We created him aforetime, when he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, We will surely gather them and the devils; then We will bring them to be present around Hell upon their knees. 68 Then We shall pluck forth from every party whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the All-merciful; 69 Then, verily, We know best those who are most worthy of being burnt therein. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 We will save the pious ones from the hell fire and leave the unjust people therein in crowded groups. 72 And when Our clear verses are recited to them, the disbelievers say to the Muslims, “Which group has a better home, and a better alliance?” 73 How many generations that had far more wealth and ostentation have We laid low before them! 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the Most Merciful prolong his life span until they see that which they were threatened, be it a punishment, or the Hour. Then shall they know whose is the worst place and who is weaker in hosts' 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Have you seen him who denies the truth in Our revelations and says, "I shall certainly be given wealth and children." 77 Has he gained knowledge of the Unseen? Or taken a covenant with the Merciful? 78 Never so. We shall certainly write down what he says, and prolong the extent of his punishment. 79 All that he claims will revert to Us, and he will come before Us all alone. 80 They have sought honor from other gods instead of God. 81 Nay, but they will deny their worship of them, and become opponents unto them. 82
