Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, when he was nothing? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall carry off from every group those who were most stubborn in their opposition to the Gracious One, 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 There is not one of you but shall approach it. That is a fixed ordinance of thy Lord. 71 Then We will save those who feared Allah and leave the wrongdoers within it, on their knees. 72 And when Our clear communications are recited to them, those who disbelieve say to those who believe: Which of the two parties is best in abiding and best in assembly? 73 And how many a generation (past nations) have We destroyed before them, who were better in wealth, goods and outward appearance? 74 Say: 'Whosoever is in error, let the All-merciful prolong his term for him! Till, when they see that they were threatened, whether the chastisement, or the Hour, then they shall surely know who is worse in place, and who is weaker in hosts.' 75 And Allah increaseth in guidance those who let themselves be guided, and the righteous works that last are excellent with thy Lord in respect of reward and excellent in respect of return. 76 Hast thou seen him who disbelieves in Our signs and says, 'Assuredly I shall be given wealth and children'? 77 Hath he perused the Unseen, or hath he made a pact with the Beneficent? 78 Never; We shall now record what he says and give him a prolonged punishment. 79 And it is We only Who shall inherit what he says (belongs to him), and he will come to Us, alone. 80 They have taken other gods apart from God that they might be a strength to them. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
