Yet man says: "When I am dead, will I come to life again?" 66 But does man not remember that We created him when he was nothing before? 67 And so, by thy Sustainer, [on Judgment Day] We shall most certainly bring them forth together with the satanic forces [which impelled them in life] and then We shall most certainly gather them, on their knees, around hell; 68 Then We shall pluck out from every sect whichever of them was most stubborn in rebellion to the Beneficent. 69 We alone know who deserves most to be burned therein. 70 And every one of you will come within sight of it: this is, with thy Sustainer, a decree that must be fulfilled. 71 We shall deliver those who took heed for themselves, and leave the evil-doers kneeling there. 72 AS IT IS, whenever Our messages are conveyed to them in all their clarity, those who are bent on denying the truth are wont to say unto those who have attained to faith: "Which of the two kinds of man is in a stronger position and superior as a community?" 73 How many generations of greater prosperity and splendor have We destroyed before them? 74 Say, "Whoever is in error - let the Most Merciful extend for him an extension [in wealth and time] until, when they see that which they were promised - either punishment [in this world] or the Hour [of resurrection] - they will come to know who is worst in position and weaker in soldiers." 75 "And Allah doth advance in guidance those who seek guidance: and the things that endure, Good Deeds, are best in the sight of thy Lord, as rewards, and best in respect of (their) eventual return." 76 So have you seen him who denied Our signs and says, “I shall certainly be given wealth and children?” 77 Has he the knowledge of the unseen or has the Beneficent God established such a binding agreement with Him? 78 On the contrary, We will write down what he says and prolong the length of his punishment. 79 And We shall inherit from him that whereof he spake, and he shall come to us alone. 80 And they have taken gods beside Allah that they might be unto them a glory. 81 By no means! They shall soon deny their worshipping them, and they shall be adversaries to them. 82
