Man asks, "When I am once dead, shall I be raised to life?" 66 Does not man remember that We created him before, while he was nothing? 67 So by your Lord, surely, We shall gather them together, and (also) the Shayatin (devils) (with them), then We shall bring them round Hell on their knees. 68 from every party We will pluck out whichever of them was the most hardened in disdain of the Most Merciful. 69 Again We do certainly know best those who deserve most to be burned therein. 70 Not one of you but will pass over it: this is, with thy Lord, a Decree which must be accomplished. 71 But We shall save those who guarded against evil, and We shall leave the wrong-doers therein, (humbled) to their knees. 72 When Our Clear Signs are rehearsed to them, the Unbelievers say to those who believe, "Which of the two sides is best in point of position? Which makes the best show in council?" 73 And yet, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [people] who surpassed them in material power and in outward show! 74 Say, "The Gracious One grants respite for a time to those who are in error until, when they are confronted with what they are promised, either in punishment [in the world] or in [the approach of] the Hour, they will realize who is worse in respect of position and who is weaker in resources." 75 (On the contrary), Allah increases in guidance those who follow the Right Way. Lasting acts of righteousness are better in the sight of your Lord as reward and conducive to a better end. 76 Have you seen him who disbelieved in Our Ayat (this Quran and Muhammad SAW) and (yet) says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children [if I will be alive (again)]," 77 Has he gained knowledge of the unseen, or made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah? 78 Absolutely not, We will record his words and prolong his punishment. 79 And We will inherit him [in] what he mentions, and he will come to Us alone. 80 For [such as] these have taken to worshipping deities other than God, hoping that they would be a [source of] strength for them. 81 Indeed no! They will renounce their worship and turn against them. 82
