And man (the disbeliever) says: "When I am dead, shall I then be raised up alive?" 66 Remembereth not man that We created him afore when he was not aught? 67 Now, by thy Lord, We shall surely muster them, and the Satans, then We shall parade them about Gehenna hobbling on their knees. 68 and then We will draw aside from each party those who were most rebellious against the Most Compassionate Lord, 69 Moreover, We well know those who most deserve to be burned in hell. 70 And there is none of you except he will come to it. This is upon your Lord an inevitability decreed. 71 And We will deliver those who guarded (against evil), and We will leave the unjust therein on their knees. 72 And when Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, "Which of [our] two parties is best in position and best in association?" 73 And many a generation We did destroy before them, who exceeded them in wealth and pomp! 74 Say: "Ar-Rahman extends the life of those who are astray until they come to realise what had been promised them was either (physical) affliction or (the terror) of Resurrection. Then will they know who is worse in position, and who is weak in supporters. 75 Allah increaseth in right guidance those who walk aright, and the good deeds which endure are better in thy Lord's sight for reward, and better for resort. 76 Hast thou then seen the (sort of) man who rejects Our Signs, yet says: "I shall certainly be given wealth and children?" 77 Has he peeped into the Unknown, or obtained a promise from Ar-Rahman? 78 By no means! We write down what he says, and We will lengthen to him the length of the chastisement 79 And We shall inherit from him (at his death) all that he talks of (i.e. wealth and children which We have bestowed upon him in this world), and he shall come to Us alone. 80 They have taken other gods instead of Allah that they may be a source of strength for them. 81 In fact, they can have no honor; their gods will renounce their worship of idols and will turn against them. 82
