Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the Day when We shall gather the Godconscious unto [Us,] the Most Gracious, as honoured guests, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 On that Day none will have the power to intercede for them except those who received a sanction from the Most Compassionate Lord. 87 And they say: 'The Merciful has taken a son' 88 Surely you have made a monstrous statement. 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should ascribe unto the Compassionate a son. 91 It does not become the majesty of the Compassionate God to take to Himself a son: 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted and enumerated them one by one. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 (Muhammad), We have given you the Book (the Quran) in your own language so that you could easily give the glad news to the pious ones and warn the quarrelsome ones. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Perceivest thou of them anyone or hear of them a whisper? 98
