Do you not realize that We have sent Satan to incite the unbelievers to sin. 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 and We shall drive the guilty ones to Hell as a thirsty herd. 86 They shall not own intercession, excepting those who have taken of the Compassionate a covenant. 87 They say: "(Allah) Most Gracious has begotten a son!" 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 Thereby the heavens are nearly torn and the earth split asunder, and mountains fall crashing down 90 because they have ascribed a son to the Merciful. 91 The Beneficent God is too Exalted to have a son. 92 there is none in the heavens or on the earth but shall return to the Merciful in utter submission, 93 Certainly He has a comprehensive knowledge of them and He has numbered them a (comprehensive) numbering. 94 Every one of them will come before Him all alone on the Day of Resurrection. 95 The Lord of Mercy will bestow affection upon those who believe and perform righteous deeds. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 for, how many a generation have We destroyed before their time - [and] canst thou perceive any one of them [now,] or hear any whisper of them? 98
