Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So do not be impatient for them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him); We are only completing their number.* (* The number of days left for them or their evil deeds.) 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 They shall not control intercession, save he who has made a covenant with the Beneficent Allah. 87 They say, "The Gracious One has begotten a son." 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That they should invoke a son for (Allah) Most Gracious. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He does take an account of them (all), and hath numbered them (all) exactly. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, the Most Compassionate Lord will soon create enduring love for those who believe and do righteous works. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 How numerous are the peoples that We destroyed before them! Do you now perceive any one of them, or hear even their whisper? 98
