Do you not see that We have appointed devils to incite those who deny the truth to disobedience? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the Day of Judgment, when the pious people will be brought into the presence of the Beneficent God as the guests of honor 85 and We shall drive the sinful like a thirsty herd into Hell. 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 As it is, some assert, "The Most Gracious has taken unto Himself a son 88 You have done an atrocious thing. 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 It is not for the Merciful to take a son! 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He knows their number and has counted each one of them. 94 and each one shall come to Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 and only to this end have We made this [divine writ] easy to understand, in thine own tongue, [O Prophet,] so that thou might convey thereby a glad tiding to the God-conscious, and warn thereby those who are given to [futile] contention: 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
