Beholdest thou not that We have sent the satans upon the infidels inciting them by an incitement? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only counting against them a counting. 84 The Day shall soon come when We shall bring together the God-fearing to the Most Compassionate Lord, as honoured guests; 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 No one will have power to intercede, except for those who have permission from the Lord of Mercy. 87 And they say, 'The All-merciful has taken unto Himself a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 Whereby the heavens are almost torn, and the earth is split asunder, and the mountains fall in ruins, 90 That they ascribe a son (or offspring or children) to the Most Beneficent (Allah). 91 For it is not consonant with the majesty of (Allah) Most Gracious that He should beget a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 Verily He knoweth them and numbereth them with (right) numbering. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So We have made it easy in thine tongue in order that thou mayest thereby give glad tidings unto the Godfearing and warn thereby a people contentious. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
