Did you not see that We sent devils upon the disbelievers, so they excite them abundantly? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The day on which We will gather those who guard (against evil) to the Beneficent Allah to receive honors 85 and drive the evildoers into Gehenna herding, 86 None will have [power of] intercession except he who had taken from the Most Merciful a covenant. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 This is certainly a monstrous lie! 89 This would almost cause the heavens to rent apart, the earth to cleave asunder and the mountains to crumble down in fragments, 90 that they have attributed to the All-merciful a son; 91 When it does not behove the Merciful to have a son. 92 There is none in the heavens and the earth but comes unto the Most Beneficent (Allah) as a slave. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And everyone of them will come to Him singly on the Day of Judgment. 95 Lo! those who believe and do good works, the Beneficent will appoint for them love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 How many generations have We laid low before them. Do you see any sign of them, or hear the least whisper of them? 98
