Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 So hasten thou not against them; We are only numbering for them a number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 and drive the evildoers as herds, into Gehenna 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 Indeed, [by this assertion] you have brought forth something monstrous, 89 The heavens are wellnigh rent of it and the earth split asunder, and the mountains wellnigh fall down crashing for 90 That they ascribe a son to the Beneficent Allah. 91 and it behoves not the All-merciful to take a son. 92 None there is in the heavens and the earth but must come unto the Compassionate as a bondman. 93 He has counted them and exactly numbered all; 94 And all of them are coming to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone. 95 Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds - the Most Merciful will appoint for them affection. 96 We have made it easy in your own tongue in order that you proclaim the glad tidings to the cautious and give warning to a stubborn nation. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Can you (O Muhammad SAW) find a single one of them or hear even a whisper of them? 98
