Do you not see that We have sent devils upon the unbelievers who greatly incite them (to oppose the Truth)? 83 Hence, be not in haste [to call down God's punishment] upon them: for We but number the number of their days. 84 On the day that We shall muster the godfearing to the All-merciful with pomp 85 And drive the guilty unto hell, a weary herd, 86 who have no power of intercession, except those who have taken a covenant with the Merciful. 87 They have said that the Beneficent God has given birth to a son. 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 at their ascribing a son to the Most Compassionate Lord. 91 But it is not suitable for (the Majesty of) the Most Beneficent (Allah) that He should beget a son (or offspring or children). 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And each one of them will come before Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Surely (as for) those who believe and do good deeds for them will Allah bring about love. 96 And We make (this Scripture) easy in thy tongue, (O Muhammad) only that thou mayst bear good tidings therewith unto those who ward off (evil), and warn therewith the froward folk. 97 And how many have We destroyed before them of generations? Do you perceive of them anyone or hear from them a sound? 98
