Hast thou not seen how We sent the Satans against the unbelievers, to prick them? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 On the Day We will gather the righteous to the Most Merciful as a delegation 85 And will drive the criminals to Hell in thirst 86 having no power of intercession, save those who have taken with the All-merciful covenant. 87 They claim: "The Most Compassionate Lord has taken a son to Himself." 88 You have uttered a grievous thing 89 Which would cleave the skies asunder, rend the earth, and split the mountains, 90 That ye ascribe unto the Beneficent a son, 91 And it behoveth not the Compassionate that he should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 Verily, He knows each one of them, and has counted them a full counting. 94 And each one of them will come unto Him on the Day of Resurrection, alone. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So We have made this (the Quran) easy in your own tongue (O Muhammad SAW), only that you may give glad tidings to the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - See V. 2:2), and warn with it the Ludda (most quarrelsome) people. 97 How many generations have We destroyed before them! Do you sense even one of them, or hear a whisper from them? 98
