Seest thou not that We have set the devils on the disbelievers to confound them with confusion? 83 So be not impatient over them. We only count out to them a [limited] number. 84 The Day We shall gather the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) unto the Most Beneficent (Allah), like a delegate (presented before a king for honour). 85 And We shall drive the Mujrimun (polytheists, sinners, criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah, etc.) to Hell, in a thirsty state (like a thirsty herd driven down to water), 86 None shall have the power of intercession, but such a one as has received permission (or promise) from (Allah) Most Gracious. 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed advanced something hideous! 89 whereat the heavens might well-nigh be rent into fragments, and the earth be split asunder, and the mountains fall down in ruins! 90 For they have attributed a son to Ar-Rahman, 91 And it does not befit the Most Gracious to choose an offspring! 92 There is no one in the heavens and earth but that he comes to the Most Merciful as a servant. 93 He has enumerated them and counted them a [full] counting. 94 And every one of them will come to Him on the day of resurrection alone. 95 On those who believe and work deeds of righteousness, will (Allah) Most Gracious bestow love. 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation before them have We destroyed! Canst thou (Muhammad) see a single man of them, or hear from them the slightest sound? 98
