Seest thou not that We have set the Evil Ones on against the unbelievers, to incite them with fury? 83 (Muhammad), exercise patience; We have given them respite only for an appointed time. 84 and on the Day when We will ceremonially gather the righteous to the Merciful, 85 And We shall drive the sinners to Hell, like thirsty cattle driven down to water,- 86 People do not own the right to intercede, except those* who have made a covenant with the Most Gracious. (* The Holy Prophets and virtuous people will be given the permission to intercede. Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him – will be the first to intercede.) 87 And they say, "The Most Merciful has taken [for Himself] a son." 88 You have indeed brought an extremely grave speech! 89 It is such a monstrosity that heavens might well-nigh burst forth at it, the earth might be cleaved, and the mountains fall 90 because they ascribe a son to the Gracious One. 91 And it is not appropriate for the Most Merciful that He should take a son. 92 There is no one in the heavens and the earth but comes before Ar-Rahman in all obedience. 93 He has counted them and calculated their number. 94 and every one of them will appear before Him on Resurrection Day in a lonely state. 95 Verily, those who believe [in the Oneness of Allah and in His Messenger (Muhammad SAW)] and work deeds of righteousness, the Most Beneficent (Allah) will bestow love for them (in the hearts of the believers). 96 So have We made the (Qur'an) easy in thine own tongue, that with it thou mayest give Glad Tidings to the righteous, and warnings to people given to contention. 97 And how many a generation have We destroyed before them! Do you see any one of them or hear a sound of them? 98
